Set it free

Once two friends grew very close to each other.  While they both were sitting by the beach, the girl filled the palm of her hands with some water and held it before her friend and said, "You see this water carefully contained on my hands? It symbolizes Love."

This was how her friend analyzed the situation: As long as you keep your hand caringly open and allow it to remain there, it will always be there. However, if you attempt to close your fingers round it and try to posses it, it will spill through the first cracks it finds.

When people meet love, they try to posses it, they demand, they expect, and just like the water spilling out of your hand, love will retrieve from you. For love is meant to be free, you cannot change its nature. If there are people you love, allow them to be free beings.

To truly practice love, we must sincerely feel no expectations from those whom we love, and yet provide an unconditional caring. Further, give and don't expect anything in return. Advise, but don't order. Ask, but never demand.

Richard Bach, the popular American writer, wrote: "If you love something, set it free; if it comes back, it's yours, if it doesn't, it never was."

Smile virus

Smiling is infectious, you catch it like the flu.
When someone smiled at me today, I started smiling, too.

I passed around the corner and someone saw my grin
when he smiled, I realized I'd passed it on to him!

I thought about that smile and then realized its worth,
a single smile, just like mine, could travel round the earth.

So, if you feel a smile begin, don't leave it undetected,
let's start an epidemic quick, and get the world infected!

You Say - God Says

You say: 'It's impossible'
God says: All things are possible

You say: 'I'm too tired'
God says: I will give you rest

You say: 'Nobody really loves me'
God says: I love you

You say: 'I can't go on'
God says: My grace is sufficient

You say: 'I can't figure things out'
God says: I will direct your steps

You say: 'I can't do it'
God says: You can do all things

You say: 'I'm not able'
God says: I am able

You say: 'It's not worth it'
God says: It will be worth it

You say: 'I can't forgive myself'
God says: I Forgive you

You say: 'I can't manage'
God says: I will supply all your needs

You say: 'I'm afraid'
God says: I have not given you a spirit of fear

You say: 'I'm always worried and frustrated'
God says: Cast all your cares on ME

You say: 'I'm not smart enough'
God says: I give you wisdom

You say: 'I feel all alone'
God says: I will never leave you or forsake you

REMEMBER: God is always with us - Always!!

His Hands

If the Lord has you on hold - hold on!

If the Lord has said 'NO' to you - thank Him!

If the Lords is molding your heart and mind - go with His change!

If the Lord opens doors that you have asking Him to open - Praise Him!

Be blessed wherever you are in your life today!

God has His hands on the situation!

I am with you

At one time a man of refinement was sentenced to spend twenty-four hours in an underground cell in an old English prison. The steps of the wardens died away in the distance. The man felt that before long terror would drive him mad.

Then suddenly there came the sound of footsteps above, and in a quiet tone the chaplain called him by name. "God bless you,'' gasped the poor fellow.

''Are you there?'' said the chaplain, "and I am not going away from here until you come out."

"Why, I don't mind it a bit now, with you there like that." The terror was gone while his friend was so near, unseen, yet just above.

Remember - beside us all is the unseen yet loving Saviour.
