Naming convention for BRS answers

While you mail in your BRS answers, do the following checks:
  1. Draft a new email to send me the answers.
  2. In the subject line, include your name and BRS number. Example: Nimi BRS # 7.
  3. Put your name in the word document - this helps while printing several of the answers. Infact, you always need to write your name on answer sheets.

The only student who has been following all these instructions so far is Jake. Let's all try and do this. From a manageability stand-point, it is difficult to pick up each of your mails to grade, if all of you reply to my original email. The above 3 points above will simplify my task and I can get your scores quickly.

BRS # 7 answers are coming in

I am glad to let you all know that since today evening, I started receiving BRS answers. So far, answers from Jake and Jiby have been received. Thank you Jake and Jiby - the two of you scored a perfect 100, and can now focus on other interesting stuff. Kevin Varghese started with his answers and should be done here soon.

Note that tomorrow all day (Saturday), I will be out and have limited access to my email. I will be able to read emails, but it will be difficult to reply right away. Feel free to call me on my cell phone if you need anything. Alternately, include your phone number if you want me to call you back to answer something.

I made a small setting on my blog so that you guys will get newly published topics to your email inbox right away. This will be the first test.

Deleted a post

I have deleted a single post from the class blog. It was about Adam baking his cell phone. The reason I removed it was because it had nothing to do with our class discussions.

Interesting topic coming up...

I have found an extremely interesting topic for ya’ll… All I can tell you right away is that the subject combines religion and science, and I am almost certain you’ve not travelled that path. Buckle up… the journey into this subject can consume endless time… and it’s so interesting it’ll keep all of us hooked up for few years to come… I am compiling facts on this topic and will post it once I receive BRS # 7 answers from ALL of you.

GD Part 3: Online Videos

Online videos are a great tool to view how a GD is held and you can look them up online at your free time. Your generation has this additional advantage and certainly make the best use of it. While researching GD topics, I stumbled upon a vast wealth of online videos.

I am consciously not providing you any links here, just to guage how each of you perform in our first discussion. Later, I'll tailor comments for each of you on your strength and weakness.

Recovered: One sword

Last evening I went by our church looking for those ‘lost weapons’ from our play. After a thorough search of all 3 buildings, I could locate just one of the swords :-) & :-( It was safely resting at a spot we would’ve never thought about, or bothered looking. I picked it up, and have kept it in our class. However, the locations of other weapons still remain a mystery.

Just so that you know, the search is still on and we’ll continue looking until they are found.

Sunday, Jan 25th

Last Sunday, I was able to cover all but one chapter; which I plan on lecturing next week. We'll squeeze it in along with our discussion on Group Discussion (GD).

We have our January Bala Balika Samajam (BBS) next Sunday and our class will be a relatively shorter one.

This week's BRS questions are extremely easy. I have emailed them to you. If you opened the attachment, you would've found them to be either multiple choice or one word answers. You'll have to work extra hard to make mistakes on this one :-) hence, I expect all of you to score a perfect 100 this time. It took me around 20 minutes to find the answers; you guys should be able to do it even faster. I'll post the answers once I get all your entries in. This is the last BRS for January 09 and the results will be posted on the notice board soon.

Does anyone know where we kept our "swords and clubs" after our Christmas play? I am trying to track them down. Apparently, some of those have not been accounted for. If you have any clue about those 'weapons', please let either Kevin Thomas or myself know about it. It'll save me a 30 mile trip to the Church.

Have a nice week and see you all on Sunday.
